New PetrolPlaza service ‘Technology Corner’Audio version
The new PetrolPlaza ‘Technology Corner’ is a section dedicated to technology subjects about petrol equipment, alternative fuels, retailing and carwash technology.
The articles address technically interested readers such as engineers and technical procurement professionals from petrol retailing companies, installers, service engineers and equipment importers and inform them about:
- new technologies
- new procedures
- codes and standards
- … and many other technology issues
All articles contain a high degree of technical information including graphs, illustrations and videos and should explain how particular technologies and procedures work and what the benefits of their implementation are.
The PetrolPlaza ‘Technology Corner’ offers readers full access to an archive with over 200 articles from the ‘Petroleum Equipment & Technology’ (PE&T) magazine, a high quality technical journal which was published between 1996 and 2001 by John Hartmann, one of the most recognised experts in retail petroleum technology. Most of these articles are still extremely relevant even though they may have been written 10 to 15 years ago.
We are very grateful to John Hartmann, our industry friend who sadly passed away in April 2012, for giving PetrolPlaza the privilege of using his archive as a pool to build on. We understand it as our mission to get on with his work, regularly add new and exciting contents and make the PetrolPlaza Technology Corner ‘the world’s most valuable online technology source for our industry’.
Last but not least, I would like to ask the many experts amongst our readers to contribute to this exciting new project by sending relevant and interesting content. Should you require professional editing services, PetrolPlaza can provide this on request.
Finally I would like to add that good feedback is of critical importance to us in the development of the ‘Technology Corner’. We need to know what issues you want to learn more about and for you to tell us what things you would find most interesting for the future.
