Canadian chain of hotels begins to offer recharging stations for electric vehicles

Electric vehicle (EV) enthusiasts will be able to recharge their batteries overnight.

A group of independent Canadian hotel operators are providing access to a network of over 20 EV charging stations delivering a full charge within eight hours. Universal and Tesla stations ranging from 60 to 100 amps are available.

“Our EV-driving guests can now have peace of mind knowing that they can get a full charge overnight or while attending on-site meetings.”, says Jean-Yves Germain, co-president of Group Germain Hotels.

“Tesla (drivers) will have extra charging options as they explore eastern Canada,” said Will Nicholas, Tesla spokesperson.
