Olerex, one of the biggest Estonian fuel retailers, has brought down the price of gasoline 95 at some stations in Tallinn to less than one euro per liter. “Petrol prices on the world market have fallen below USD 600 per metric ton, meaning a 7.5% decline during the last week only. The price of diesel fuel has also dropped. Compared to the beginning of the year the world market prices of gasoline and diesel fuel in USD have already declined correspondingly by 40,4% and 35,4%,“ Alan Vaht, Olerex Member of the Board has commented in a company statement sent to PetrolPlaza December 15.

The price of “0.999 EUR per liter is today the absolute bottom in the entire European Union”, Vaht added. “However, prices in the Eurozone are supported by the USD exchange rate, which has strengthened against the EUR by  9%,“ the statement added.

Olerex, established in 1994, operates 49 fuel stations all over Estonia.
