California opens its 10th hydrogen dispensing station

A station in West Sacramento, California, has installed “the first hydrogen dispensing system that measures hydrogen mass with connectivity to retail interface and user friendly payment features”, according to a press release distributed December 15.

“This is the first public accessible hydrogen refueling station that has demonstrated SAE compliant fast-fill performance with accurate mass flow measurement,” said the statement released by Quantum Fuel Systems, which helped to produced the equipment.

The equipment was produced in a partnership between Linde North America and Quantum, the statement said. Ramos Oil Company and the California Fuel Cell Partnership are also part of the effort, the statement added.

Ramos Oil company said in a statement in its own page that it is the tenth hydrogen station in California and the new dispenser was placed in an existing fuel retail facility.
