South Africas’ Stowe renews contract to service 39 stations in Namibia

Stowe, a company that provides automation support as well as other services to fuel stations in Botswana, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe, has just got a contract that will allow it to continue to support activities of Engen, in Namibia, for three more years, the company said.

Last update:

“Our current contract (with Engen in Namibia) ends in December 2014 but the new contract has been awarded for three years and this will commence in January 2015,” a Stowe company representative recently told PetrolPlaza commenting on this key renewal for the company.

“At this stage there are about 39 stations being serviced and our scope of support includes all automation equipment on site. This includes Point of Sale, Back Office, RF Vehicle Identification as well as Integrated EFT,” the official added referring to the contract renewal with Engen.

Stowe offers its support services to companies that operate in South Africa including BP SA, Brent Oil, Kaap Agri, and Sasol Oil and Gas. In Namibia it also supports Puma Energy among others. The company started operations in 1989. Founders Henk Stander and Steve Owen continue in charge.
