Shell stations in Singapore team up with 7-Eleven to offer UPS pick-up service

The convenience chain 7-Eleven will begin offering at 20 stores all located within Shell stations in Singapore a service under which customers will be able to receive packages sent through the delivery company UPS.

Last update:

“The new solution offers customers the flexibility of collecting packages coming from selected online retailers at the closest participating Shell,” UPS said, according to a press release published by UPS in the second half of December detailing an accord between the three companies.

This helps many customers of UPS who had reported issues with not being at home to sign up for package reception and now they can pick them up anytime at the 7-Eleven locations inside Shell which are open 24 hours and strategically located, according to the UPS release.

“Shell will also be fueling" the UPS Singapore delivery fleet of 100 trucks with diesel and also an additive product to help reduce emissions, the release added.

Shell has been present in Singapore since 1891. Meantime, 7-Eleven said it has 500 stores in Singapore which operate under a license from US-based 7-Eleven.
