Australia: Accusations of delays in transferring lower prices lead to investigations

Australian authorities said on January 15 they will start checking on fuel stations for posible price fixing and this occurs after a lawmaker accused some service statios of failing to pass on huge savings resulting from falls in the crude oil price to consumers, Reuters news service reported.

Retailers like Woolworths and Wesfarmer Ltd’s Coles could also be affected, it added.
