Indonesia’s Pertamina to add 150 CNG dispensing units annually, The Jakarta Post reports
Indonesian state oil company Pertamina will expand its number of dispensing units of CNG by 150 annually as the company has plans to increase its sale of natural gas in coming years, The Jakarta Post said on December 29.
Pertamina’s marketing director Ahmad Bambang said that the expansion is under an investment program in which the company adds compressed natural gas (CNG) dispensing units to existing filling stations.
The goal is to increase consumption of natural gas so as to replace that of gasoline, he said.
Pertamina press officials did not immediately reply to a request for confirmation or comment.
