The federation is the official voice of the main petrol companies operating in the refining, distribution, marketing and storage of petrol products in Belgium. The FPB|BPF represents this industry sector in public authorities, associations and for the public.

FPB|BPF has 12 members, including 4 refineries, 7 distributors of refined oil products and 3 storage companies.

FPB|BPF covers 100% of the refining capacity and almost 80% of the fuel sales in Belgium.
