DPR has the statutory responsibility of ensuring compliance to petroleum laws, regulations and guidelines in the Oil and Gas Industry. The discharge of these responsibilities involves monitoring of operations at drilling sites, producing wells, production platforms and flowstations, crude oil export terminals, refineries, storage depots, pump stations, retail outlets, any other locations where petroleum is either stored or sold, and all pipelines carrying crude oil, natural gas and petroleum products, while carrying out the following functions, among others:
- Supervising all Petroleum Industry operations being carried out under licences and leases in the country.
- Monitoring the Petroleum Industry operations to ensure that are in line with national goals and aspirations including those relating to Flare down and Domestic Gas Supply Obligations.
- Ensuring that Health Safety& Environment regulations conform with national and international best oil field practice.
- Maintaining records on petroleum industry operations, particularly on matters relating to petroleum reserves, production/exports, licences and leases.
- Advising Government and relevant Government agencies on technical matters and public policies that may have impact on the administration and petroleum activities.
- Processing industry applications for leases, licences and permits.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments of Rents, Royalties and other revenues due to government.
- Maintain and administer the National Data Repository (NDR).

Rainoil filling Station beside Kilimanjaro along Ipaja Road (are fuel pump manipulators). I bought fuel worth of
N36,000 on 5/10/23. My gauge didn’t rise immediately after purchase of fuel (I thought my car fuel gauge was faulty . But drove straight to my house,
This morning 06/10/23 when I started the car, the gauge was at the same level(1/4 ) . It did not rise as expected. I reported the case to the manager of the filling station, but asked me to check fuel pump .
Lo and behold, my mechanic confirmed no fuel was supplied to my car fuel tank.
In conclusion, the manger refused to address this situation.
I want DPR to intervene and sanction this particular filling station. They are cheats and will continue to cheat the citizens of Nigeria if nothing is done about this situation.

The amount I heard for it is too much,
Pls the filling station needs to be sanctioned or shutdown and without mercy the staffs must be changed. Because how will you take charges from someone using keg/gallon who doesn't have a car or stable income then the vehicles get a free pass how is there justice there it's pure criminal activity right in front of us and we cannot even see any manger or admin to complain to so the staffs behave however they want even after being confronted about what they do.....when I say all I mean all of them I buy fuel from them everytime so I see this alot
I have a report to make concerning peridot filling station in amuwo odofin local government area.....they steal from citizens by putting charges on fuel buying using gallons whereas they vividly post on their notice that they do not take charges.....
Secondly the employees lack working ethics and they try to be smart by putting in the system a lesser amount of fuel rather than the price the customer requested for in order to sell to the customer lesser amount and steal the remaining balance for themselves
Good Day Everyone, I want to say I'm so disappointed with this establishment since it was given it full potential to help combat the issue of price inflation on PMS and AGO and to an extent they seems to keep mute while Tax payer's continue feeding their families.
Imagine how Port Harcourt is currently without regulations almost all Filling Station are selling PMS at Will and at a price of N380~N410.
I don't blame you people much but the senseless Leaders that brought you people to existence.
The rate of extortion is too much, here in Mowe opposite redemption camp, filling stations are selling fuel for 240…kindly send out your enforcement team to do needful…we need a scape goat
It is quite wonderful of the DPR and other petroleum resource regulatory bodies to remain silent as the price of fuel is soaring. I just bought fuel for 340 naira per litre at Nobpet opposite big treat by stadium road and the attendant even had the audacity to explain that the rising cost was due to "Christmas money" giving to the police at the depot. Nigeria just chooses to fail us every day.
There is a queue in Ijebu Ode right now. Petrol stations are not selling and those selling are collecting extra money. Plz do something.
Oando Filling station at Ago Palace way r selling fuel at 190naira per liter eventhough the price on their machine showed 162naira per litre.The attendants said that was the amount they asked them to sell for both cars and jerry can. I have an evidence of such transaction with me n U can reach me via my email address for prices.Filling station owners should not always take advantage of fuel adulterated to increase the pump price even when the government are doing everything possible to ensure the masses are comfortable.Kindly please look into this as I will not stop here.Thanks
Please, I'm a technician for Oil and Gas Services, I want to obtain working permits how do I go about it, I have try it online so many times i could not get it
There's this particular mobil filling station at challenge bus stop in mushin, they are fond of cheating their customers everytime, they don't sell fuel completely to their customers, they will program the exact amount customer want to buy but suddenly when the amount hasn't been completed, the price on the metre will jump to the programmed amount and start blinking.
Moment you complaint, where the sales stopped will now appear on the metre.
Pls kindly look into this as it has been going on for months.
Did you make a rule for petrol stations to collect money from customers buying fuel in jerrycan in Lagos state. Because Rain Oil located in Mafoluku Oshodi attendants are constantly doing that. Pls look into it
