Our leak detectors for special operating conditions.

Suitable for applications of leak detection on the vacuum principle in a variety of aggressive media storage, chemicals, and in harsh environmental conditions are particularly our unit types:

Type V13 – Alarm pressure at -325mbar; wetted parts of the leak detector are made of highly resistant plastics. The suitability to the storage medium must be checked against the list of substances or representative lists of resistant materials. Starting autumn 2012 this device type also will be available in our new leak detector design.

Type V33 – Alarm pressure at -325mbar; wetted parts of the leak detector are made of stainless steel 1.4571 and special highly resistant plastics. The suitability to the storage medium must be checked against DIN 6601 requirements or representative lists of resistant materials.

For outdoor installations, both versions are also available in IP 55 protection enclosure with external alarm indication and optional heater.

Type V80Ex - Alarm pressure at -34mbar (low pressure) or -325mbar (high pressure). Due to the explosion-proof leak detector explosive storage liquids with flash point <55°C also can be monitored. In the stainless steel variant, all wetted parts of the leak detector are manufactured of stainless steel 1.4571 and particularly resistant plastics.

New: For harsh environments, e.g. salt air, within chemical plants, we offer the optional installation of the armatures in a protected stainless steel enclosure (by default in coated sheet steel box).
