The visual appearance of ABC flies like a boomerang!
U-Cont supplied one of the biggest filling stations in Finland to the modernized shopping mall of Prisma Limingantulli in Oulu, Northern Finland. This filling station gives totally new image of the ABC filling stations with a boomerang shaped canopy. The station has 6 islands that are situated to two different dispensing areas.
This filing station has some unique characteristics. Traffic to the huge shopping mall area is routed underneath the middle section of the boomerang canopy. The dispensing areas are situated on the ends of the “boomerang” and are connected to each other by the canopy. Both of the dispensing areas have 3 islands. In addition the filling station is equipped with a charging point for electric cars.
The canopy is the largest U-Cont has ever supplied. The canopy was constructed into modules and therefore it was easy to transport and install.
The station was finished in July 2013. Architect - Sampo Valjus.
