As one of the largest providers of solutions for vehicle washes in Europe, Kärcher is now offering wash system operators a cloud-based platform for fleet management and payment systems. The new Charlie system has come about in cooperation with the TSG, which offers modern payment solutions in the mobility sector. Charlie Fleet enables the output and status of gantry car washes and self-service wash systems to be monitored or system parameters to be adapted. Charlie Pay ensures payment transactions are cash-free and, via the Charlie Fleet platform, offers extensive analysis options for revenue and utilisation.

Wash system operators need a status overview of their gantry car washes or self-service washing stations at all times. Charlie Fleet provides a wide range of functions associated with system management. For example, with site management via the cloud in real time, the data from all the vehicle washes saved in the system can be called up. An alarm function informs operators via e-mail immediately of any problems that occur, which means that service work can be assigned extremely quickly, thereby ensuring short downtimes. In addition, a detailed analysis of wash figures shows at which sites and/or on which days promotional campaigns can be run for higher utilisation and thus increased profitability. Via remote control – via a PC or mobile devices – opening times can be amended and program prices or names can be changed or added to.

Cashless payments are becoming increasingly popular in the vehicle wash sector too. The Charlie Pay payment solution offers operators the option for their end customers to make a cashless payment via debit or credit card, QR code or smartphone. The ten-inch touch display is very easy to use. All payment systems can be linked to the cloud across all sites, which means that revenue trends can be tracked with high precision. Displaying advertising on the payment system, operating instructions, user tips and pricing can be adapted at any time, quickly and simply.

Charlie Fleet is available for all Kärcher gantry car wash and self-service wash systems SB MB, SB MU and SB OB, Charlie Pay is available for all gantry car washes, self-service systems and self-service vacuum cleaners. The systems meet the highest security standards. Charlie Fleet can be implemented and operated as an individual solution, Charlie Pay is always used in combination with Charlie Fleet.
