US: Piedmont Natural gas and Spinx stores to partner for South Carolina CNG station

Piedmont Natural Gas, a US-based gas company, and The Spynx Company, a convenience store retailer, have agreed to install a CNG fuel facility in a Spynx store which will target commercial fleets and other vehicles, Piedmont said in a press release issued December 17.

The CNG station will be opened in Anderson, South Carolina, the release said. The new station will be Piedmont’s 11^th public CNG refuelling station which are located in the Carolinas and in Tennessee, the company said.

“The use of compressed natural gas as a transportation fuel has grown significantly in recent years and has many benefits and advantages,” the release said.
