Kashmir fuel retailers want computerized dispensers, Greater Kashmir newspaper reports
Kashmir-based fuel retailers want oil marketing companies help and support for a faster installation of “computerized multiple product dispensers” to replace traditional mechanical units, the Greater Kashmir reported from Srinagar in late December.
Bilal Ahmad, whom the newspaper identified as spokesperson for the Kashmir Petroleum Retailers Association, said that computerized dispensers provide more protection against tampering.
The existing mechanical dispensers, whom Ahmad described as 'Z-line', are "vulnerable,” he said according to the press report published on December 27.
