Shell Aviation takes control of fuel business in Lille, France

Shell Aviation has started as of January 1 its jet fuel activities in the Lille, France airport as the sole operator and will remain so for a decade, Shell said in a statement January 13.

The operation start-up was possible after the company won in September 2014 a 10-year contract which includes the exclusive use of all infrastructures in the airport both to stock and move fuel.

Besides Lille, “which is one of the airports in France with the most intense traffic” Shell statement said that Shell operates in another eight airports in that country.
