English Español BP rebrands 15 TravelCenters to the Amoco brand

There are plans for 50 more locations to be converted before the end of the year.

Last update:

TravelCenters of America (TA) sees more change happening across its network as its parent company, bp, introduces the Amoco brand to the retailer's fuel canopies.

BP posted on social media that it has already upgraded 15 TA sites with the new branding and plans for 50 more locations to be converted before the end of the year.

“Our TravelCenters of America site in Georgia just got a major upgrade with a fresh Amoco canopy! We've converted 15 sites, with plans for 50 more by year-end. Soon, all TA sites within our East of Rockies footprint will rock the bp or Amoco brand!” said the company in a LinkedIn post.

The $1.3 billion acquisition of the TA company was finalized in May 2023. BP stated that TA’s strategically located network of highway sites complements BP’s existing predominantly off-highway convenience and mobility business in the United States.
