Spar Oman has introduced CENSA, a new coffee concept that has been rolled out at two of the brand’s locations.

This new offer combines convenience retailing with a boutique coffee haven, mixing a Spar Café offering with in-store dining for customers. While they enjoy their coffee, customers can also buy fruit salads, smoothies, sandwiches or fresh salads in the dining area.

The second CENSA was timed with the opening of a new store in Al Muna, the newest Spar Supermarket to open in Oman.

Statista has valued the coffee market in Oman at $114.5 million, reflecting local consumers’ desire for a variety of bean cup coffee solutions. The company’s projection is to increase the volume of coffee consumed in volume growth of 2.9%, leading to the average volume per person to be 1.20kg during 2024.

Spar International granted the license to Khimji Ramdas for operating the brand across Oman in 2014. The business conglomerate has interests in trading, distribution, retailing, training, restaurants, and manufacturing.
