English Español Aral pulse expands charging infrastructure for trucks

The company opened a three truck charging location in Hamburg-Moorfleet with a 300kW output and powered by green electricity.

Last update:

Aral has inaugurated its new truck charging stations in Hamburg-Moorfleet, expanding its truck charging network to 22 locations across Germany.

The new charging site offers three charging stations with two CCS plugs per charging point, which are compatible with all common e-truck models. Thanks to the 300kW output, drivers can obtain green electricity for up to 200 km in 45 minutes.

In addition, there is a store on site with refreshments for drivers as well as toilets and showers. Electric cars can also charge at four additional 300kW charging points.

“As Germany's largest seaport, Hamburg is one of the most important transshipment points for goods in Germany. This makes it the ideal location to further expand our charging network for electric trucks and thus support logistics companies with an efficient charging infrastructure to switch to climate-friendly drives," explained Alexander Junge, Aral Board member for e-mobility.

The latest addition has expanded Aral pulse’s charging network up to 22 locations where trucks can also charge. This also includes the eight locations along the Rhine-Alpine corridor, which the company put into operation in January 2023 as "Europe's first truck charging corridor."
