CECHA is the only third-party business union institution that integrates the Federations, Associations and/or Fuel Retailers, which conglomerate the petrol stations of the country, no matter what oil company flag they carry.
Since its foundation on November 10, 1965, and at the request of its member entities, it supports, coordinates and assumes the representation of the sector before national, provincial and municipal authorities and members of the Legislative Power, participating in the analysis and development of laws and regulations that ensure and strengthen the independence of the retail sector. Such national representation is also carried out before producers, distributors and wholesalers with the purpose of achieving a better understanding in the relationship between them and our associates.
The entity actively participates in congresses, conferences and meetings that deal with specific topics of the activity, examining all the problems that affect it, as well as to fix positions in front of the general oil programs of the country.

Wish to network with you for more insight in the organization of petroleum industry
We are in great need of reactivating our union to make more valuable to serve it's members. To get members to pay dues is quite challenging. We need some strategy help to revamp the union.
