Repsol unlocks in-car payments in Portugal

A total of 100 service stations across the country now offer ryd’s services to pay for fuel without leaving the car.

Repsol has integrated in-car payments across service stations in Portugal, allowing drivers to pay quickly for refueling services without leaving their cars.

The company has partnered with software company ryd to deploy its in-car payments solutions at 100 outlets in the country. This new addition to the chain’s services allows for seamless transactions to enable a more convenient customer journey.

We're eager to redefine convenience standards and welcome ryd at 100 of our service stations," said Miguel Pacheco, Head of Loyalty & Non-Oil Programs at Repsol Portugal.

With this new addition to its portfolio of clients, ryd has more than doubled its network across Europe in recent times. Lately, the firm has been partnering with other retailers across the continent, such as EG Group, Aral and WashTec.
