TotalEnergies has just installed its 600th charging point in two years the city of Antwerp. The energy company is in charge of expanding the charging network of the Belgium city.

In September 2021, the City of Antwerp (Belgium) signed a concession contract with TotalEnergies for the extension of its public charging station infrastructure.

Until 2034, TotalEnergies will also be responsible for the technical and commercial operation of this network of public charging points. All these charging points will be supplied with green electricity from Belgian offshore wind power, which is 100% renewable.

The first five TotalEnergies charging stations were installed at the beginning of February 2022, including three in Ekeren and two in Deurne. Two years later, 600 charging points are now available in every corner of the city.

This deployment strengthens TotalEnergies' position as a key player in electric mobility in Europe, in line with its ambition to operate more than 150,000 charging points for electric vehicles by 2025.
