Azerbaijan offers to build petrol stations and oil refinery in Libya

Azerbaijan has offered Libya cooperation in the fuel-energy sector and in particular, to build petrol stations under the SOCAR brand in this country and an oil refinery through joint or Azerbaijani investments
Azerbaijani ambassador to Libya Agaselim Shukurov made this proposal at a meeting with Libyan Minister of Oil and Gas Abdulrahman bin Yaza, the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said with reference to the embassy.
The ambassador also invited the Libyan Minister to the traditional international oil and gas exhibition, to be held in Baku on June 5-8. Accepting the invitation, bin Yaza expressed his country's interest in cooperation with Azerbaijan in the fuel-energy sector.
