Tanknology Inc. announced that Tottal Inspecciones Perú S.A.C. of Lima - Peru has become an International Licensee of the company

Tottal was founded by two partners, Daniel Valdizan and Ruben Lopez with the idea of providing the best, most accurate and reliable tank testing and inspection services to the Peruvian market. Valdizan and Lopez bring to Tottal years of experience in the oil industry, including roles in upstream, downstream, and regulatory segments.

According to Ignacio Allende, Tanknology’s Vice President of International Operations, “The timing for this partnership is fantastic. The country of Peru has nearly 4,000 gas stations, and while environmental regulations have been in place for some time, enforcement efforts have just begun this year. The Peruvian market is starting to demand excellent compliance services, which Tottal and Tanknology can offer together.”

Allende noted that Tottal will offer Tanknology’s patented VacuTect® tank test, as well as line and leak detection test methods available exclusively from Tanknology and its international licensees. “The addition of Tanknology’s VacuTect® tank testing method will provide a significant competitive advantage for Tottal,” Allende said, “eliminating the need for unnecessary or extra fuel deliveries will save tank operators considerable time and money.”

Daniel Valdizan, Co-Founder of Tottal said that becoming a Tanknology licensee was an ideal solution for his company and that they are excited to now offer Tanknology’s industry leading tightness testing to customers across Peru. “Tanknology is an international leader in UST compliance and inspection services,” Valdizan said. “We are excited to offer our customers access to the most convenient and accurate testing across Peru, using Tanknology’s high quality equipment.  Our customers will benefit from this relationship.”
